Who are we?

President: Anne Lake
Resident of Newnham Street

Concerns: I have a strong interest in maintaining a friendly safe environment for all where there is joy in our diversity and respect and care for our elders.
Hobbies: Community Garden, Cooking, Travelling, Bike riding and the odd bit of creative art.

Vice president: Henry Stawarz

Resident of Coldstream Street

Concerns: I have been a West Leederville property owner and ratepayer for nearly 40 years, and resident since 2004, and support the
preservation of our community as an inner city residential suburb that is people friendly, a safe environment for children and adults of all ages,
pedestrians and cyclists, and that has planned avenues for appropriate motor vehicle access.
I am in favour of improvements to the Cambridge High Street Precinct, through appropriate civic and human scale development (both residential and commercial) that will enhance the environment and amenity for the surrounding residential areas.
Hobbies: swimming, cycling, golf, fishing, travel, reading.

Treasurer: Sue Taylor
Resident of Tate St

Concerns: Development of community spirit in West Leederville. I have lived in West Leederville for the first two years of my life, and then for the past 21 years.
Optimisation of roads, paths, laneways for ecologically sound transport (feet, prams, bikes, trains) and recreation. Community consensus on what balanced contemporary solutions to modern living might look like in a Heritage-Listable suburb like ours.
Hobbies: I am Wife, Mother, Greenie, Surgeon and Tenor. My hobbies are sleeping, gardening and cycling.
